 Antica casa rurale risalente al 1200, situata sulla cinta muraria del castello di Radicondoli. Posizione tranquilla con panorama mozzafiato sulla splendida vallata del fiume Cecina con vista su Volterra e San Gimignano nonché sovrastante sul Podere La Fonte dove svolgiamo attività agrituristica, produzione e vendita di prodotti biologici quali ortaggi, vino, olio extravergine di oliva. La casa dispone di un ampio soggiorno/cucina con grande camino, una piccola camera con delizioso balconcino e un bagno al piano terra. Salendo l’originale scala in pietra si accede a due camere di cui una matrimoniale con bagno interno ed una singola con bagno esclusivo nel corridoio. Continuando a salire al secondo piano si trova una luminosissima e grande camera di circa 30 m quadrati con un letto matrimoniale e bagno privato. Dalle due finestre della camera si può ammirare tutta la Val di Cecina spaziando da Volterra a San Gimignano.

 The owners of Podere La Fonte also offer you the possibility to spend your holiday at “La Galera”, a spacious thirteenth century town house built right on the walls of the historic centre of Radicondoli. Here you will be strategically placed on the edge of the village with stunning views at all three levels of this historic building were reputedly people spent time, hence its current name which stands for “prison”. On the ground floor you enter a large authentic Tuscan kitchen-dining room with a remarkable log fire fit to see through the hardest of winter in full comfort. From here you go, through a separate dining room with French windows to a delightful small terrace which dominates the river Cecina valley. Here you must choose whether to eat al fresco or simply enjoy the view. Stone steps lead you to the sleeping quarters. Right at the top you find a grand master bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower room and ample space to relax and have some time off the other members of the party. There is a second double bedroom, also with shower room en suite, and a single bedroom, on the middle floor. From the bedrooms you can also enjoy uninterrupted views over the valley and the surrounding hills. You can see Podere La Fonte, Volterra, San Gimignano, and many other villages nestling in the hills all around you, even at night. Nearby there are three bars, three restaurants, bank, doctor, post office, tennis.
